Sip-Tober: Fall-Themed Protein Shake Recipes

Make this time of the year centered around your favorite holidays by sipping on festive healthy drinks. It’s not only an excellent way to nourish your body but it’s also fun to spruce up a drink to get you in a festive mood!

 

Making a unique smoothie that satisfies your tastes can be simple if you know some good options. It’s also a way to combat a stress-induced sugar craving that might occur.

 

So let’s celebrate the season’s best flavors by indulging in your favorite seasonal flavors for a healthy treat. I have three great smoothie options that may take center stage to fuel your days and become your “go-to” drink this season.

 

Apple Pucker Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 green apple (cut in quarters & cored)
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened for less calories)
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 scoop FIT Blast shake
  • 1 Tsp. vanilla
  • 2 ice cubes for a thicker texture

Preparation

  • Blend all ingredients on high for 30 to 40 seconds.
  • Sip & Indulge!

 

Spicy Vanilla Pear

Ingredients

  • 1 seasonal pear (cut in quarters & cored)
  • 1/2 Cup unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tsp. Ginger or a chunk of real ginger
  • 1 scoop FIT Blast shake
  • 2 ice cubes for a thicker texture
  • Optional: + nutmeg, ground cloves or other spices of your choice

Preparation

  • Blend all ingredients on high for 30 to 40 seconds until smooth and creamy
  • Devour & Enjoy!

 

Minty Green Chip Shake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mashed avocado
  • 1/4 cup low fat vanilla Greek yogurt (omit if sensitive to dairy)
  • 1/4 Tsp. Peppermint extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 cup kale, firmly packed
  • 1 scoop FIT Blast shake
  • 2-3 ice cubes for thicker texture
  • 1 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips or cacao chips

Preparation

  • Blend all ingredients on high for 30-40 seconds until smooth and creamy
  • Use a low blend speed to add in the chocolate chips after the smoothie is fully blended.
  • Sip & enjoy pure delight!
