Chuck Norris Uses Total Gym To Help His Martial Arts
Chuck Norris recently talked to Total Gym Pulse on the important role The Total Gym has played in his martial arts training. Chuck has been involved in martial arts for over 54 years and has been using the Total Gym for almost 40 years. He says he doesn’t use The Total Gym because he has to, he uses the Total Gym because “he likes it.” Chuck says he enjoys keeping in shape, looking good, staying healthy and doing the things many men his age can no longer do.
Chuck says The Total Gym is like his “supplement” for martial arts because it keeps him strong and fast. Whenever you are hitting or punching it creates a lot of impact on your wrist and forearm. The Total Gym helps you develop your power and strength in these areas along with your punch. In addition, Chuck points out how you can develop the power in the triceps, shoulders, and abdomen which are also key in martial arts training. According to Chuck, being able to work the entire body and just not a single muscle group is what makes The Total Gym so incredible. Chuck says that thanks to The Total Gym he is able to continue his martial arts training well into his 70’s.
