How To Get Strong Arms
Fitness trainer and TV personality Rosalie Brown is back at Total Gym Pulse to show us an incredible way to strengthen and sculpt your arms using The Total Gym. The exercise Rosalie demonstrates today involves using the cables for a “lat sweep” which not only will work the back, but will also work the triceps. If you want your arms to look great, you must attack your triceps. Rosalie will also be demonstrating a “tricep kickback” and will alternate between these two exercises for what she calls an “Arm Ladder” workout routine which involves starting at 10 reps and working down to 9,8,7,6, etc. Before she begins, Rosalie mentions if the exercise is too hard simply lower the bench and if it’s too easy raise it. This is another great advantage of working out on The Total Gym, a workout machine that will last you a lifetime!
Begin by laying your stomach on the glide board of The Total Gym with both cables in hand. Keep your palms facing down and push your arms back keeping them straight throughout the duration. Do this for ten reps.
After you are done with your set of ten, move to tricep kick backs. Transition to this exercise by remaining in the same position except this time bend the elbows at a ninety degree angle and kick back. Do this for a total of nine reps and then switch back to arm sweeps for eight reps. Continue to alternate back and forth descending in reps all the way to one. With this one exercise Rosalie says you are going to feel the burn and save time.
