Total Gym Addicts – Real People Sharing Real Stories- Cassandra

I am Cassandra Kurpiel, a 36-year-old mom of an 11-year-old, my mission was to slim down and tone up.  I was always in pretty good shape until a few years ago when cancer hit my family and I devoted myself to taking care of my father. My days of clean eating and daily workouts turned into quick fast food meals and sitting in waiting rooms. I knew I would get back on track but my family will always come first.

In January of 2017, I made the decision to take control of my health because without it, I am really no good to anyone. What if something happened to me! I am the family caretaker so to speak. The first step was to eat a healthy diet starting with lean protein, lots of veggies, and green tea. Next step was ….what workout will I do…. will it be some workout videos? Do I need to join a gym? Maybe some yoga? What will get me back into shape?

I have owned a lot of exercise equipment in my life, I get rid of it when it is no longer “fun”. So, sitting on the couch watching TV a year ago this month I see fitness guru Rosalie Brown doing plyometric exercises and literally having fun with the Total Gym. I was in awe of her! I can do EVERYTHING on one machine and actually have fun doing it? That is 100% correct! So, I ordered the Total Gym Fusion because it had the awesome Pilates accessories with it for a great price. I also joined the group Total Gym Addicts on Facebook which helped me in so many ways to stay motivated and keep pushing through.

I had such great results from the Total Gym Fusion I decided to add another model to my home gym, I purchased the Total Gym FIT!!! I had to have it since it was offered at an excellent price and the FIT has a longer and wider glide board. I told my husband we now have “HIS and HER Total Gyms”! It has been great owning two because my best friend joins me with my workouts.

Fast forward to now. I have lost 4 pant sizes and 21 lbs., gained muscle, toned up everywhere and guess what…. I am still having “fun”. Several of my friends decided to buy their own Total Gyms after test driving mine.

I would love to share with you some of my favorite workouts I do on my Total Gym. I call it my “Lucky 7” because I can get a total body workout in just 7 moves.  You can also check out my video to see a demo of my “Lucky 7” too! Please connect with me on the Facebook group Total Gym Addicts.
