Total Gym FIT BLAST Meal Replacement Shakes: Holiday Recipes

If you need some inspiration, I have some fresh, healthy, and delicious smoothies you can make to nourish your body and ‘spice’ things up this holiday season. These smoothie recipes ensure plenty of variety from a flavor and nutritional standpoint.

 

Get ready to blend up some fun, simple, and tasty seasonal recipes for a festive sipping season!

 

NOTTY NOG

For many, holidays are not complete without some naughty egg nog! You can make this naughty treat calorie friendly with some simple substitutions. You won’t even know the difference!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened plain or vanilla almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 scoop vanilla Total Gym FIT BLAST
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 date (pitted)
  • Dash of ground clove
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract (alcohol-free recommended)
  • Dash of sea salt (optional)
  • ½ cup spinach (optional)

*The smoothie is just as good with spinach, so why not add a little green? (Trust me, you can’t taste the difference!)

 

Directions:

Add the liquid to the blender first followed by the rest of the ingredients. Blend on high until there are no chunks of frozen banana remaining. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg!

 

Naughty Options:

If you’re feeling extra naughty, spike your drink with a splash of bourbon to kick up the mix! This could be your next festive fun party drink! Another option is to add a shot of Peppermint Schnapps. It’s like drinking Christmas in a cup!

 

BERRY HOLIDAY SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup mixed berries &/or cranberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup kale
  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 scoop vanilla Total Gym FIT BLAST
  • 2-3 ice cubes

 

Directions:

Add the liquid to the blender first followed by the rest of the ingredients. Blend on high until ingredients are smooth. Garnish with a mint leaf.

 

Naughty Option:

For a festive fun time, add some Pomegranate Liquor! Pama is a great vegan choice.

 

ALMOND JOY DELIGHT

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla Total Gym FIT BLAST shake

 

Directions:

Add the liquid to the blender first followed by the rest of the ingredients. Blend on high until ingredients are smooth. Garnish with coconut flakes and a dash of cocoa powder!

 

Naughty Options:

To put a jolly spring in your step, add a shot of Coconut Rum or Amaretto…and of course a dollop of whipped cream!
