Total Gym Adjustable Glideboard (ALL FIT & XLS)

The Total Gym Adjustable Glideboard brings the most-requested feature from our premium Total Gym EVOLVE to the machine you already own. On a all Total Gym FIT & XLS models, raising the rails raises the whole glideboard with them — the higher the incline, the more your body tilts with it. The Adjustable Glideboard changes the geometry. Three angle positions pivot the glideboard so it sits parallel with the floor even as the rails climb, giving you a flat, stable platform to move on.

What that flat surface buys you is control. Your spine stays aligned & balanced through exercises; ideal especially for rotational work. Your head stays above your heart during inverted exercises, which benefits blood flow & can help prevent the dizziness some people feel stepping off afterward. And because the surface is elevated & even, simply getting on & off the glideboard is easier — a small thing that matters a great deal if you’re training around a stiff back, a recovering knee, or limited mobility.

It also opens up training you couldn’t do before. A level glideboard feels more like a Pilates reformer. It also behaves like a bench, so Pilates reformer-style movements & bench-type weight training joins the 40+ exercises & variations already in the Total Gym training library. Positions can also be changed to modify an exercise for any muscle weakness — training the side that needs it without punishing the side that doesn’t — while building the balance, stability, mobility, & posture that make everything else easier.
