Rated 5 out of 5 by Cat Lover from Best Addition! I absolutely love this stepper! I take Pilates and do “jumping” on the reformer. Now I can jump and jog and do it on my Total Gym. It’s fun and gives me additional cardio. Very happy with this additional aspect of the Total Gym.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TC baker from Add fun, and strenuous exercises with the STEP The STEP attachment allows me to add higher impact aerobic plyometric exercises to my regular routine that I would not otherwise be able to do. I am a 55yo woman with osteopenia, back, hip, and knee injuries; but I love to exercise on the Total Gym. I feel that using this attachment has strengthened my core and legs significantly. I do have to be very careful because the STEP is not as high as the Pilates foot bar, so I have to watch each time my foot lands as I am still getting accustomed to the exercises. It’s amazing how much more strenuous, and fun the work out is using this attachment. I am hopeful that this exercise will result in bone strengthening so that I can avoid osteoporosis. I would highly recommend adding this attachment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fit4God from Another Great Step-Up for My XLS I once again, Thank God for provision that allowed me to purchase the TG Step attachment for my XLS. I was also disappointed that there were no videos or instructions for plyometric exercises. However, I Googled, YouTube TG Step exercises and watched Jodai Saremi's Step Introduction which introduced clear directions and demonstrations of 5 Basic Step exercises: Squat Hop, Jog/Single Knee Lift, Double-Knee Lift, Air Jack & Arm Raise, and Single Leg Polo. She also offers a Step part 2 which includes 4 Intermediate Step exercises: Two-Toe Squat, Alternating Single Knee Lifts, Alternating Kicks, and Tic Tok; and lastly she demonstrated the 5 Advanced Step exercises: Squat Jump, Split Jump, Split Jump with Reach Through, Side Lying Squat with Lateral leg Abduction, and Jumping Scissor Legs. Once you have mastered the terminology and the skilled movements, you may consider watching the YouTube of Cassandra's Step Workout (7:31 minutes long). Cassandra is part of the Total Gym Addicts and she's a very good instructor. Upon the review of these helpful resources, I'm glad that I made the investment for an additional cardio attachment. The Step is a great compliment to my CycloTrainer and standard Squat Stand.
